Why am I here?

I'm conducting a user study as part of a class that I am taking at the University of Minnesota. This user study is focusing on the best way to select and move multiple agents, with the goal of increasing user control of the agents. In order to complete this study, I created a computer program in which you can move a number of agents represented as small circles to complete movement tasks represented by triangles.

This program was developed in order to allow the users who wish to participate in the study to include themselves without intervention by myself. The program asks for consent when it starts up, and then the study starts. The process is simple and takes less than 10 minutes on average.

What do I need to do?

Just download and install the program below, and run it (the installer will ask to run it).

While the study is going on, your interaction with the program is recorded (where you click, what happens in the window), so that I can study the response. At the end of the program, it will ask to send the log to this web server to be included in the study.

How do I know you aren't taking over my computer?

The source code is available below as well. It is distributed under the terms of the GPL.

Help! Something went wrong!

I'm willing to help you out if you have problems with the study - just email me at movement-study@jamuraa.com.
